Peanut Butter Cookie Superfoods Shake

It is Superfoods Saturday, so I am going to share my current favorite superfoods protein shake. I call it the peanut butter cookie shake because it literally tastes like you are drinking a peanut butter cookie.

Current favorite shakeology recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Almond milk (or your choice of dairy alternative)
  • 6 oz. Water
  • 1 Scoop of Vanilla Shakeology (or your favorite protein powder)
  • 1 Tbsp. Peanut butter powder
  • Handful of ice (optional)
  • Half of frozen banana (optional)
  • 1 tsp. Collagen powder (optional)
All of the ingredients used

Mix and Enjoy

There are a few ingredients I saw are optional depending on the consistency you like your protein shake. I prefer mine thicker, but my husband likes his thinner.

The frozen banana is great to add if you want it thicker and creamier. The ice will defintely help it seem more like a milkshake.

And the collagen powder I started using a few months ago and see difference with my skin and nails. Plus you taste it, so you can throw it in your shake, coffee, or even water.

Once you’ve dumped everything into your blender, mix and enjoy!

I love drinking this for lunch because it fills me up, gives me something semi-sweet, and helps curb my cravings all afternoon.

I like to use the individual cups with my Ninja blender, but I have also used the large container and made 2 servings and split it for myself and Cory.

Enjoying it in front of the Christmas tree

What is your favorite ingredient to add to your superfoods shake?
