Everyone Loves Pizza
I have met a lot of people from all over the world who come from different cultures and harbor a wealth of different interests and tastes, but the one person I have not met is the person who doesn’t enjoy pizza.
Pizza is not only one of the most delicious foods invented, but one of the most versatile as well. Pizza rose to popularity due in part to how quick and easy it is to make, and how well it can be transported.
If I said, “let’s order some food and have it delivered,” the first thing you would think of is probably pizza (well maybe not anymore with the wealth of delivery services and 15 months of a pandemic under your belt). In in the small Midwestern town where I grew up, that was literally the only food that would deliver, and we only had the chain pizza places that many foodies scoff at today.
Ordering out comes with the cost of you not really knowing what you are getting or putting in your body. That’s why I love this recipe so much. You can use your choice of flour and yogurt, no other ingredients required. Except for toppings you want on your pizza.
Easiest Pizza Dough Recipe Ever
Ingredients:
– 2 cups self-rising flour, plus more for dusting
– 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt

TWO INGREDIENTS! Dos. II. Duex. Zwei. Ithnain.
You get the point… 2!
2 cups of self-rising flour and 1 cup full-fat (whole milk) yogurt. That’s it. Simple and easy is what we all want in our lives and this recipe is that.
Just combine the two with a fork. I’ve made this a half dozen times or so and what works best for me is to try to fold the two together. Then continually press down all around with your fork. The mixture is going to clump up into tiny pieces.
Once it feels like the fork is not combing the ingredients well anymore, start kneading it with your hands and forming it into a ball. Should only take 1-2 minutes for it to feel like dough. If the dough is dry and not sticking well together, add just a splash of water. Repeat if necessary.

Side Note
If you don’t have self-rising flour, you can make your own out of all-purpose flour. Just add 3 tablespoons of baking powder and ½ teaspoon of salt. (Measurements are for 2 cups of flour)
This amazingly does come out like traditional pizza dough. I have secretly given it to several picky eaters without them knowing until after they had a slice or two down. This dough makes what you would consider 1 large pizza or 2 small-medium pizzas, depending on how thick you like your crust. It’s easily enough for my wife and I to split, and I double the recipe if we have company.
Now It’s Time to Top Your Pizza
As for toppings, whatever you like! I usually do a traditional red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, and/or green peppers with mozzarella. I have also made a white pizza with broccoli and garlic breadsticks with this dough, and both have been fantastic.
Add your toppings and bake at 425 F for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese starts to slightly brown and the crust is golden.

Last Minute Tips
Here’s what I like to do with my homemade pizza: Take a baking sheet and put it upside down in the oven while the oven is preheating so the pan gets nice and hot. Then put the pizza directly on the upside baking sheet. It makes the crust a bit crispier, in my experience.

Finally, this dough can be used for a ton of different things. You can cut it into smaller pieces and use it as naan. You can spread it thin for a flatbread. You can also make Greek gyros with it.
Truly an effortless, adaptable recipe, that you will use again and again!
