Our third day in Evansville, we went to Biscuit Belly for breakfast. I had the Love Shack biscuit which consisted of Brie, honey, berry jam, and pralines. Yum!! I love when restaurants have good branding and fun names for their food items.

Then we took the boys to an indoor playground called Deep Blue. The boys had a blast! It is the perfect morning for ages 2 to 10. You can even have birthday parties there. If you are in the Southern Indiana area, I highly recommend checking this place out.

After the indoor playground, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. Not my fav, but we don’t have one where we live in Florida and my husband loves it… That afternoon we went to Mesker Park Zoo to see the animals. And we got to experience my nephew’s first zoo trip. Too bad he was napping the whole time! Auggie loved feeding the penguins and Ollie loved running as fast as he could from animal to animal #iykyk

For dinner, we ordered pizza from Azzip and brought it home. After that busy day I knew eating out was going to be too much. And yes, you must get the Zip Sticks, so good!!The next morning we ate breakfast at Nellie’s Restaurant. Then had a few more baby snuggles before driving back to Indianapolis. We had a very early flight on Sunday and wanted to see Cory’s parents before heading back to Florida.I feel like trip just consisted of eating and baby snuggles which was perfect! And it wouldn’t have been the perfect trip without getting lots of cousin photos!!

It’s not always easy traveling with kids. But taking your time, adding activities they will enjoy, and just being patient is key. I know for my kids, specifically Oliver, it can be really hard to be out of their normal routine. However I do feel, the more we travel the easier it gets.
Do you travel often with your kids? Tell us in the comments your favorite place to travel with them.
